I am in love with this cake. It was really fun to make, but all of my cakes are. I had a lot of fun experimenting with the Wilton Cuddly Bear pan. I was really worried about making a 3D cake and having it hold together, but by mixing regular chocolate cake batter with pound cake batter did the trick! I had to add extra cocoa of course, but it turned out really yummy and dense and stable. I also made a separate little cake so that Clara could blow out her candle and rip into her first birthday cake without killing the Ballerina Bear. I love the pictures my husband took of this cake, I just can't get over how stinking cute it is!
